一、「兒童生活信念量表」分量表之內部一致性α值介於.52 ~ .74之間，總量表Cronbach α係數為.91，與國內現有之測量兒童非理性信念
The purpose of this research is to discuss the way the parents of elementary school students teach their children, irrational beliefs and type A behavior relations. Four viewpoints are as follows :
1.The researcher wants to establish the scale of irrational beliefs that could be used in elementary schools for the time being by clarifying the concepts of the scale of irrational beliefs in the literature review.
2.The author examined the relationships among different demographic variables, parenting styles, irrational beliefs and type A behavior of elementary school students.
3.There are discussions about how we can predict type A behavior of elementary students with different demographic variables, parenting styles and irrational beliefs.
4.The research offers substantial suggestions and serves as references for potential researchers who are interested in duty education and students counselling.
This research use "the parenting style and the degree of satisfaction scale", "the child life beliefs scale" and "the child type A behavior scale" to facilitate the whole study. The researcher got 794 samples with the method of stratified sampling. Data gathered from the samples were analyzed through chi-square percentage homogeneity test, MANOVA, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, canonical correlation, and multiple regression analysis.
The research conclusions are as follows:
1."The child life beliefs scale" of lamination scale Cronbach between .52 ~ .74, total scale Cronbach is .91. Compared with domestic tool of the child irrational beliefs, the reliability and validity of this scale are quite good.
2.There are differences among consciousness of maternal parenting style in students of opposite genders, self irrational beliefs and type A behavior. Such difference is not obvious in paternal parenting style.
3.There are differences among consciousness of maternal parenting style in students of different grades, paternal parenting style, self irrational beliefs and type A behavior.
4.Different maternal parenting style and paternal parenting style of elementary school child has different irrational beliefs score, of which the mothers influence is stronger.
5.The elementary school students of neglectful style got lowest scores in the item of diligently competes and achievement .
6.The child irrational beliefs has positive correlation with "the time sense of urgency" and "the aggressivity and the hostility" of type A behavior; diligently competes and achievement of type A behavior has negative correlation with "avoids a difficulty" of irrational beliefs.
7.Demographic variables, parenting style and irrational beliefs of elementary school students could be used to predict their type A behavior.
According to the conclusions mentioned above, the suggestions that the researcher raised in terms of duty education, the child counsels the work and the futurology are for the reference for future similar studies.
