不管是從事任何的設計創作而言,觀察是創作最初的步驟,透過視覺、觸覺、聽覺或是味覺的連貫,傳遞至腦中的訊息再經過思考的轉譯,已經開始有了靈感與想法。觀察的範圍是非常廣泛的,每個人相同的目的是在於感觸到什麼樣的事件與物件,或只是一場夢境。但是,感觸所觸發的結果卻是什麼?相同的行為中卻沒有一定的規矩,創作也因此而來。
「虛」與「實」或野i以解釋成不存在與存在或是看似不存在與實在,在任何的定義下,偏向虛的一方和實的一方的客體現象是什麼?虛幻雖是假象但是事實上又並不等於空無,虛象也可以利用形式的作法去表達出來,這樣便是一種轉化過程。虛象與形式雖然各有獨特的現象,但是虛實卻相同的具有一定的目的性,若只有幻想終究沒辦法實現,在感受力洞察的結果呈現於概念上,其實就是邁入實現目的的方法之一。在虛的客體上,藝術哲學家蘇珊.郎格(Susanne K﹒Langer)認為這是靠記憶所解釋出來的虛象,在實的客體上,英國哲學家哈奇森(Francis Hutcheson)認為這是在於形式的品質。虛與實在理論下的解釋成為客體的虛象與形式,這也只能代表著一種經驗而已,但是形式與虛象必須透過再轉化的過程才能使之平衡與客觀,這也就是本研究所要探討與操作的目的。
因此,本研究在文獻的探討上,主要是尋找關於藝術領域學家對於形式與虛像的定義與論點,透過這些定義與論點比對其他較為客觀的哲學家去追尋形式與虛象能夠互相融合的地方,最後落實於概念想法上。
在案例分析的探討,主要是列出三位建築師在操作概念和執行建築時的想法與作法,如同文獻探討的方向,何者偏向形式主義,何者偏向虛象操作,何者介於兩者之間,藉此同時也能印證藝術家與建築師操作概念的共通特點。在最後實際操作上,本研究利用觀察、想像和體驗的方法去感受預設概念操作場地附近的一些事物,也同樣的探尋形式與虛象的特徵與共通點。
最後進入到概念設計時,透過前面的方法,在實際操作形式與虛象時所得到新發現將是本研究所要探討與面臨的課題。

英文摘要

In terms of designing creation, no matter what kind of designing creation it is, observation is the initial step. The information transmitted to human s brains through the coherence of visual, tactile, acoustic or gustatory perceptions would be translated by thinking and engender inspiration and mindset. The scope of observation is very comprehensive. Everyone has the same observational purpose to perceive what things would be felt like, or it is only a dream. But what the result yielded by perception would be? There is no bound rule for the same behavior, and that s where creation initiates.
Vacuous-ness and substantiality might be explained as nonexistence & existence or something seemed not to exist & substantiate. No matter under what kind of definition, what are the objective phenomena of the one who tends to vacuous-ness and the one who tends to substantiality? Vacuous-ness is a false appearance, but actually it is not equal to empty since virtual image could also be expressed by form which is alleged transformational process. Though there are distinct phenomena both in virtual image and form, they have some same purpose. If there is only fantasy, nothing would be come true. While the results penetrated by perception are presented in concepts, it is actually one of the ways to step into fulfill the purpose. As to the object of vacuous-ness, arts philosopher Susanne K. Langer argues that it is a virtual image expounded by way of relying on memories. With regard to the object of substantiality, English philosopher Francis Hutcheson suggests that it depends on the quality of form. Under theoretic explanation, the vacuous-ness and substantiality become the object s virtual image and form, which represents only a kind of experience. But the form and virtual image must take on the transformational process so as to reach balance and objectivity that is what the purpose the study would explore and operate.
Therefore, as to the literature review, the study would mainly search for the definitions and theories of form and virtual image from scholars in the artistic domains and contrast such definitions and theories with those from other philosophers so as to quest for the points that might integrate the form and virtual image, then, implement to conceptual thinking in the end.
In regard to the exploration of case analysis, the study would mainly list three architects mindsets and proceedings while they operate concepts and prosecute the architecture as the approaches of the literature review which explore who is prone to form operation, who tends to virtual image operation, and who is getting between the two sides, it could also illustrate the common traits of operational concepts among the artists and architects. As to the last practical operation, the study uses methods of observation, fantasy and experience to perceive some things around the operational site of default concepts so as to explore the characteristics and common points of form and virtual image, too.
In the end, while getting into conceptual designing, what new findings would be got in practically operating the form and virtual image by way of abovementioned methods, it would be the issue confronted by the study and what the author wants to explore.
